Serving Our Community
The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation dedicates its resources to helping our neighbors right here in the Greater Cincinnati region.
In 2008, The Foundation opened the Roselawn Eye Clinic, the first charitable eye clinic of its kind in the tri-state area. The clinic has one part-time coordinator and over 100 volunteers. It provides free comprehensive eye examinations to uninsured low-income adults.
When surgery, medication, specialized testing or ongoing care is required, Roselawn Eye Clinic volunteers help access these essential services. Patients in need of eyeglasses are provided vouchers that are redeemable at participating local optical stores. It is through the generosity of volunteers, individual donors and grants that we are able to offer these services at the Roselawn Eye Clinic.
Our Mission is to Preserve and Improve Sight.
