History and Mission
Cincinnati Eye Institute doctors care deeply about the eye and vision health of all people living in the Greater Cincinnati region. Our doctors care for thousands of patients each year, but they know that many more people in our community go without care because they cannot afford it, or because they have difficulty accessing care.
In 2006, doctors at Cincinnati Eye Institute established The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation, a nonprofit organization, to help address the growing need for eye care in our community. The Foundation’s mission is to preserve, restore, and improve sight.
Our programs and services are focused on the vision health of all people living in the Greater Cincinnati region. We fund research, advance the education of eye care professionals, educate the public about vision-related issues, and provide eye care services to low-income adults with no vision insurance.
The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation achieves its mission through partnerships with community agencies and other nonprofit organizations. However, it is only through the generous support of individuals like you that our mission, programs, and services are possible. Please join us as we work together to improve eye care and vision health in our community.
