Research
To support research is to support the hope and promise that one day we will discover new and improved treatment options, diagnostic tools, and cures for the most daunting eye disease. The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation supports research in various areas of ophthalmology. In order for medical students to have more research opportunities, we provide small research grants to students in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. The Foundation also encourages and supports collaborative research projects between eye care professionals, local medical students, and researchers from other institutions.
