Foundation Vision Clinics

In 2008, The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation opened its first free adult vision clinic in Roselawn Lutheran Church. By the end of 2015, this clinic had served 5,100 adults who had no insurance and whose income fell below the 200% Federal Poverty guideline. With the success of Roselawn, The Foundation looked to expand services closer to the inner city. In May of 2015, The Foundation opened its second adult vision clinic within the St. Vincent de Paul Center in the West End of Cincinnati, followed by the Good Sam Eye Clinc and the Clovernook Center Eye Clinic. Unfortunately, the Roselawn Lutheran Church had to close its' doors in 2017, and this clinic was closed.

The vision clinics have been funded through the generosity of local and national foundations. Joining these foundations are corporations and individuals whose ongoing generosity provides financial support of clinic operations.
